is hyrdroguard and great white the same thing basically

I've used great white because I'm from Canada and hydroguard is quite hard to find here. Great white works well no root issues at all and my water temps are usually around 22 23 celcius, and even higher in summer. Never had any root issues. Was also running canna rhizo.

No not really, dr marijane has the same bacteria as hydroguard however and you can get it on amazon, if you want hydroguard in Canada... hollandindustries has it but it’s $150 shipped cad. Not many products have “bacteria” in them in Canada.

I should have said finding hydroguard at a decent price compared to great white. For a while cheapest was 100 can + 20 shipping, just noticed a few for 65. Plant success who makes great white made a new liquid formula especially for hydro called orca. I have not personally tried it yet but I heard good things and will try it once my great white runs out.

No, not the same thing at all-one species of rhizobacteria (hydroguard) vs many cultures, plus mycorrhizae and trichoderma (great white.) Southern Ag Garden Friendly Fungicide is the same thing as hydroguard, only much stronger concentration-skip the hydroguard and get the Southern Ag. Great White is a decent product for what it is.
