Is compost tea effective in coco?

I was wondering about the effectiveness of a tea drench once a week in coco. I have been doing this and my plants are very healthy but being that there are nutrients constantly being ran through the medium daily with plenty of runoff, I'm wondering if there's even any benefit to the tea? I was told by someone that teas are geared towards soil and it's pointless in coco, so I just wanted to get some opinions.

if your coco is living and you are not steralising it with h202 and harsh acids then you may well be noticing the beneficial effects of the microbes in your rhizosphere.

i have never tried compost teas on my coco but i do use enzyms and organic based additives that i feel help with overall plant health.

I also use organic based additives such as orca (liquid version of great white), sea green, rapid start and enzymes, and I use Heavy 16 bases and additives which is semi organic.

So I'm also wondering if adding compost tea is redundant or if it is any more beneficial than all of the above mentioned nutrients and additives that are fed to the plants on a daily basis.

OP, If you find teas beneficial for soil you will find the same for coco. Its an organic medium and a lot of the bagged "soils" people use are coco based. The bacteria will eat it just like wood or peat...slowly.
