Is advertised flowering period for amber trichomes?

I am growing Dutch Passions Holland's Hope, a 80/20 indica/satvia hybrid, outdoors. I prefer energetic cerebral highs and am planning on pulling it when it's cloudy with no amber trichomes. It is advertised to finish after 8 weeks of flowering and I am wondering if that time means how long it will take the bud to have amber trichomes or just cloudy trichomes.

In any case how long does it take for them to change color once they become cloudy and about after how many weeks (of flowering) should I look to harvest them?

Hey salt i'm growin dutch passion hollands hope too (3 weeks into flower). I thought it was a narcotic, couch-lock to begin with, but maybe i'm misinformed.

If you are looking for lower CBD's (higher energy), then earlier is better. As time goes on the yield increases but so does CBD Basically it all comes down to balance, but as the grower you have your preference. It's kind of like cooking pasta.

Yeah I knew that about the plant, but was looking for anything that would have an early harvest and could withstand pests/bad weather. Here are some pics if people are interested.
