is a 400 hps enough to light a room 4x4x3

hey guys just moved and now i have a room 4 long 3 wide and 3 high just wondering if my 400 is enough for this area thanks

yes, it should be.

i have a 4x6 with 7ft ceiling, using one 400w CMH bulb. so a 400HPS should work. but if you have the cash, pick up a philips CMH 400w Retro While bulb for that 400w HPS ballast (must be magnetic). for 55.00 bux, its money well spent.

yes, the more light the better, but I wont go higher than 400w for a room that size, unless you live in alaska. You dont want heat, heat is the biggest cause after overwatering of crap plants
