The roots on your outdoor plants aren't 100 degrees, and that's the difference...

You'd be better off growing under a couple CFL's, and then switch to HPS in flower, assuming you can figure out a way to cool the space before then.

Best suggestions I could ever make would probably be to try to have a lot of air circulation in your grow room. AIm to have about 85F max, otherwise, you'll cause some root rot, or stretching in your plant's stems, which is not a great idea.

i used the same 3 gal. pots out side i now have indoors the 100 d. is peak temp i'm taking readings every 1 hr. to see if it goes any higher i didnt plan on going indoor until late oct. but snoopy neighbors are forcing my move on the last of this grow i'm in 12/12 mode right now i figure one month of hot & a cool-down mid sept. a second fan & vent is in the works i can always cover them later

when i fist started on my first grow my growroom my temps were 88-95 degrees started with fem seeds and they all were so stressed they turned to hermes after about my third grow i got temps down and havent had problems with stressing plants do to heat, outside temps r different because there is plenty of fresh air for your plants and they dont get near as stressed as when u grow indoors Co2 bucket will help coool room slightly and help with overall growing

I live in deep south (Florida) and i do same schedule to help with the heat, but until u get temps down ur goin to be fighting the heat every step of the way. Put as many oscillating fans as you can in there to help move the air especially above the plants and below the light
