Currently providing eight watering events per day via electronic timer. Timer runs an Active Aqua Submersible Water Pump, 400 GPH. I would like provide more than eight watering event, but I am limited to eight due to timer only supporting eight events. How can I get more than eight watering events?

Change the timer. I bought a hubspace controllable outlet. I have one outlet set for one event every hour.

The digital timers I've used with an app usually can program minutes but not seconds.. Has anyone found a non-commercial timer that can program multiple cycles(over 12) with programmable seconds?
Edit: think I found a timer but I haven't used it or tried to program cycles with it.. it claims to have 19 programmable on/off cycles. Nice!

That looks like it might fill the bill.
Just a little lost as to what you would run for seconds?
The other way would be to do it with a Rasberry Pi setup

The ability to control the feed/water to a finite amount per irrigation. For instance, feeding a plant using (2) 0.5gph PC emitters for 1 minute is ~63ml, 1.5min is ~95ml ect.
You could also run a timer with minutes, just wouldn't be able to fine tune when/if needed, unless turning on/off manually . It's my preference to have the option to control/monitor various inputs/enviro and their levels. This style works with high frequency fertigation.
OpenSprinkler uses raspberry pi, is this what you're referring to? Great product..

Nearpow can be hit or miss. I have a bunch of them. Every once in a while they cycle on and never cycle off. Had my reservoir emptied out in a night several times. I ended up spending the money for a growlink system and never have to worry about setting timers again or dumping the res in a night.

No kiddin'.. I got mostly flood & waterproof floors with tall backsplashes in each grow area. Even installed floor drains in some places for waste water or whatever, but yeah that would still suck! Especially in the house/tent..
I still trust mine though. They work pretty good, and the internal batteries still hold a good charge. I never over loaded them before , with lights or anything high powered. Just pumps.. I can see there being a bad batch here and there!

Using one of these, I had my res partially empty yesterday. About 7 gallons... it was either the timer or my siphon valve got stuck closed. Supposed to run for 35 seconds.

few minutes with the shopvac and it's all good.
I'm using a slightly different timer. I have one in the veg tent doing the same job. Nearly three grows with them and they haven't given me a problem before.

Using the same here with no issues that weren't my fault. The lock feature is really nice.
