Intermittent spray 4 aero

Quick question. my aeroponics setup is running 24/7, that is my roots are being constantly misted. Is this not desiarable? do i need a timer that will turn the pump on every couple of muinutes? Will my tomatoes yield more with an intermittent timer? and if so, where could i get one relatively inexpensively? thanks a lot!

I think most aero systems spray constantly. Some do the 1 minute ON and 4 minutes OFF, but you need a cyclestat timer, and they're pricey.

if you can keeep the temps under control run 24 -7 hi temps = oxy deprivation. that is bad.
a cycle timer is around 80 bucks and up

Set it to one minute on and five minutes off.

The off time gives the roots the air time they need for max growth. It also helps keep your water nice and cool since the pump is not always running.

Cycle timers are not cheap. You are looking at $85-100.

Do a search for "cycle timer". Or better yet buy one from your local Hydro shop.
