Interesting thought?

well i am totally lit right now, my girlfriend raked me off of the ceiling so that i could write this so bare with me.
So i was thinking about people watering their lawns mid-afternoon during the summer time and how stupid this is. If i am correct the beads of water on a blade of grass act like a magnefying glass for the sun. resulting in burning the hell out of the blade of grass. The suns output is far more great than any cfl. so knowing this i am asking...

Does misting my plants with water while the cfl's are on create little magnefying glass' that allow my plant to absorb more light?:joint:

I don't believe it is the magnifying effect that burns the grass. When plants are in a humid environment they are able to open their stomata on the under side of the leaves. When in open sun and under dry conditions this dehydrates and kills the leaf.

cfls dont give off enough intense light to burn plants im pretty sure
you gotta remember the sun is about 10,000 lumens/sq ft if im correct thats alot of intense light

but do you get what i am saying? do beads of water on a leaf increase light penetration when under direct cfl light?

Just mist at night or 30 min before the lights come on.

Everytime I am at the grow room when the lights go out (3 times a week atleast), I soak them with mist/spray at night... I make it appear as if there was a rain storm. I know its anecdotal evidence but I try to mimic the outdoor environment as much as possible.
