Intake question.

Hey people,

I am thinking of getting my fresh air from the attic as its quite discreet position in my grow room. I want to place the ducting next to tiles in the picture in the hopes it will suck air through the gaps in the tiles which I will then direct to the tents. I can see light between some tiles so I know air will come through but I'm not sure of I require full exposure to the outside to get enough air into the ducting?

Does anybody think this would be sufficient? It will be providing air to a 4x8 tent and a 4x4 tent.

Any help appreciated!

Not a good idea if your attic is not climate controlled.

I think it will still pull cooler air into your grow room specially in the winter months, but very dusty air so would need to filter it also, replacing a tile ok roof with the vented slates would be a good idea

I used to have these in an old house 4 of them with my out take hooked up to them along back of house,, sure u could do 1 for an intake easy enough

Thoes are great ideas. I think after this grow I'll clean the space out and get one of thoes installed! Wish I thought of that before.
