Inside Sun Company: shady?

In case you haven't heard of them, Inside Sun Company (insidesun.com) has the cheapest lights I've found on the Internet. That being said, I ordered a 400w refurbished HPS kit for $130 after shipping, and it works great. The only problem is that I found 2 charges on my credit card statement from ISC for $130. I called the guy (Mike, the owner I guess) and left messages 3-4 times. The guy never answers the phone and never calls back, so I ended up calling the credit
card company to fix the problem, which they did, no big deal, took 5 min on the phone w/ Chase.

Point being: the company seems to be run by one guy that can't keep up with his buisness. They do have an eBay store, which seems a little safer. I guess you'd be safe either way (since you have to use a card to buy from the site, and CC co's got you covered), but I prefer not to deal with this BS. Would I order again from this company? Sure, if I'm still as broke as I am today, but my advice to others with
more money to spend: don't spend it at a place thy doesn't know how to run a buisness or treat customers with respect. I think it's extreamly disrespectful to not call someone back after 3 weeks of v-mails.

I just recieved my refurbed 400w from them yesterday. First i ordered it on on 1/29 at 10am and didnt recieve it until 2/12. 2 weeks to ship an item that is "in stock" seems a bit long to me:confused: Also the ballast i got was oviously on fire at one point and looks as though someone chucked it out of a moving car at 60mph. I still havnt fired it up (i will be tonight) to even see how it performs but im already done in dealing w/ this company and they will never get my business again.
If your looking for a cheap light i would go w/ craigslist over inside sun. You can find much nicer lights for the same price.

My ballast is pretty dirty on the outside too, messy wiring on the inside, but it works. It is refurbished, so I cant expect it to be sparkling. I bet their unused stuff is nice, but the way they do business isn't that great.
