Insect Netting - Work for Bugs?

Has anyone tried insect netting as a preventative against bugs for an outdoor grow?

Last year was somewhat manageable using Spinosad, but certainly not fool proof by any means, unless I was applying on an incorrect
schedule.

i did check pricing on mosquito netting during the winter. It's just not something i want to do cuz i like the open nature feel to my grows. it would be this massive ugly white tent in my backyard. Here in Texas there's only 2 months i really really need to worry about so it's just not worth it for me. Spraying works well enough. I'm thinking it's the same everywhere, a couple of months of massive insect pressure to get thru, then it peters out.
