Inline Fans

Just a simple question, how exactly do you hook up an inline fan? And whats that silver tube stuff called too.

I think you are looking for ducting (the silver tube stuff) and people hook in line fans up all different.....mine goes carbon filter> hood > exhaust fan > attic

well you could wire it to a plug so you can put it on a timer or wire it to thermostat so it just turns on when it gets too hot.
