inline fan size and some A/C questions

o I'm working in an 8' by 11' flower area, 4x2 closet tent for veg. Currently I have a 400w MH for the 4x2 tent, with 2 6" duct boosters (not full size inlines) one for pulling fresh air from the bottom of the tent out the top and one to cool the 400w in a cooltube stretching about 8' to a window for fresh air and then directed into the ceiling out of the other side.

I have a 1000w in an adjustawing and a 1000w metal halide hanging vertically for some fucked up hermie looking foxtailing plants, They are about 6' at a 7' ceiling and we made the mistake of letting them keep going but just going to trash them for hash. Im looking to upgrade and get 2 more 600w's to replace the 1000w MH in air cooled hoods to reduce heat in the room because I believe temp problems are one of the biggest cause for the plants not growing well.

How big of a fan will I need to cool 2 600w's in cooltube xl hoods? Stretching a distance of maybe 10 feet in a straight line. Will a 6" inline do it or do I need an 8"? Also would it be better to get 8" tubes over 6" for airflow and ability to put very close to plants?

I'm also thinking of just using the 1000w in the wing with a super spreader and using the 2 600's in a short line both aircooled in a 9 week rotation. Would the 1000w be better for the first 3 weeks or the last three weeks to finish off?

Also, is it better to pull air over the lights or blow the air towards them?

Appreciate the advice in advance im trying to get on the way to making unstressed plants because the hermies can piss a guy off ya know
Im open to any and all suggestions

i would get a bigger fan like an 8 inch inline fan......also i would keep the 1000 watt lights and just have a digital dimmable ballast turned down to 750 watt...this should help cool your room a little better.
