Inline booster for intake

Hi guys, just finished a harvest that was reasonable sucessful even though i have had problems with heat throughout the grow but more so with the MH bulb sometimes getting upto 40c. i have added an extra 4" passive intake and seemed to help temps but not enough really.

So today i decided to get a nice new 12" oscillating fan and add that to my crappy 6" clip on hoping that was the problem but the temps got to 35c after 30mins or so. Damn not the fan.

so after a little investigation i have found out the extractor fan i have bought only has 30cfm :(
my guess is that is the problem. so i will be buying a 105cfm extractor fan soon.

Could i use the 30cfm booster for the intake? if so should i make the second 4" hole smaller or remove to keep the negative pressure?

Here's the setup

1mx1mx2.5m closet grow
400w MH/HPS light uncooled
4" ducting and filter setup - filter and fan in closet near to light with vent to bedroom
2x 4" ducting as passive air intakes.
