Indoors v Outdoors

Hi All, I am a newbie here and also to aeroponics.
My main goal at the moment, to see if I can actually do this is to clone cuttings and when the roots are long enough, repot them and sell them on.
Eventually I will be trying hydroponics to let my grand-daughter see the fish etc.
Now my system is very very simple.
I have a pump sitting in the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket and a 360 degree sprayer attached to a 7 inch riser.
I have 7 2 inch pots in the lid and hopefully will be up and running withing the next week or so, depending on the results of my questions. :)
1) does it matter if I have my bucket indoors or outside..I live down near Galveston Island so I supose outdoors will be better as there will be more natural light..yes??..and we don't get muchin the way of frost etc.
2) Do I really need a timer on my pump, or can I just leave it on 24/7 as all I am doing at the moment is creating clones from cuttings??

darn it, I know I had a 3rd question but it has gone right out of my head..well guys the moral or that is never get old..raflmfao.
Oh and by the way I do not smoke weed !!! :)

have a great day

man have you ever tried it? no peer pressure and I know your a grandpa, but the stuff Is really nice.

as far as your 2 questions, you can put them outside but make sure they don't get too hot in the sun, its could easily bake in the sun and get your roots and water hot, maybe put the res. in a cool spot. and yes you can leave the pump on all the time. especially if its just a little one.

good luck
