Any harm in putting indoor growing plants outside for a few hours of the day. I have a secluded area on my patio that gets sun from 10-4. I figure this could save on the electric bill.
I would think the only way you could hurt them by doing so is if there is a large temperature differential from location to location (-/+ 20 deg.) Other than that, sunlight = good for plants. Also a breeze will develop stronger stems.
