Indoor Lighting

I have a 4 X 4 X 8 pre-fab flowering tent. In the past, I'd used a 430W Sun-Agro for flowering, and it worked fine, but I always had heat issues that impacted the end result.

I'm thinking of switching to T5's (which I already use for my mothers and growing clones). Good idea? 4- or 8-bulb? And what mixture of warm to cool bulbs? I'm considering an 8-bulb fixture with 6 warm and 2 cool - is that overkill? Is a 4-bulb set-up with 4 warm bulbs enough?

get an aircooled hood for your hps lamp.

exhaust fan out the hood and out of your grow tent with an inline fan.

heat problem solved, you should also be able to get the light very close to the plants this way. you will be disappointed with fluoros for flowering.
