Heyy!! i have a room that the lenght is 15 feet and the width of it is 4 or 5 feet, i have 20 plants and they are about 1 foot long, i know i have to start using some serious lights because right now im using flourcents!. I have 400$ to spend, i wanna get lights that can cover all the plants well but for my price range. Plz give me some advice!!

15" x 5" I would say you need 3 400w ( one every 5 ft)or 2 1000(7 ft apart splitting the room in half), not easily done for $400, I'm not going to bash cfl's cuz I never tried them but you would need A LOT of them

you could get a 1000w hps and or a 750 lumatek digi and put it on like a mover, or you could possible make a system that moves the light back and forth in the space you have.

do this. get 1k lumatek a nice hood and track system youll be set. all that will be about $400. i only do 20 plants per 1k light as rule of thumb.... kinda breaking it at the moment lol. Pe@Ce...

if you haven't sexed them yet, chances are only a few of them would be females, then you wouldn't have to cover so much space...400 dollars doesn't go as far as it used to, huh!
