Indoor grow help

Hi I am new to indoor growing and have a few questions that I couldn't find answers for...

I am Ideally looking to grow 2-4 plants, although I have heard that a yield depends on the growing space and not how many plants you have.
So I would like to pull in about 1-2 pounds per grow cycle how big does my grow area have to be plus light size?

My initial idea was either a 4x4 tent powered by a 600w with 4 plants or a 3x3 with two plants and a 300w
what yield would I expect?

I was thinking of using the scrog method to maximise yield although would I need to if I want a 1 pound yield?


Also what would be a good beginner strain that is indica dominant, high yield, potent, tasty and has a quick flowering?

Critical mass if potent and tasty is your priority and maybe big bud or a cross of big bud if yield is the priority. Getting a lb out of a 4x4 is not going to be easy. Just dealing with the heat from anything more than a 600watt in a 4x4 will be a challenge.

I would pick a strain you think fits what you are looking for and grow it once. That way you will learn what is required to optimize it and then you can shoot for the Gram Per Watt goal and with a flawless grow could get a lb out of a 4x4 perhaps with some CFL side lighting. Good Luck!

Thanks for your knowledge, I think I might look in to CFL side lighting but for now I might start with a small grow to experiment and see what happens, otherwise I was think about some Super Lemon Haze maybe some ak47

Also your gonna need a 1k light, cool tube and ac.
You wont pull a 2 lbs maybe 1lb if your good. you
Dont have enough space.

Also you shouldn't focus on yield this being your first grow. You should just focus on learning how the plant works and getting good quality.
