Incubating Red Wiggler Eggs

Hey guys, I just separated my red wigglers from my unfinished vermocompost, and transfered them to a new bin with much better bedding.

I noticed a ton of cocoons in the “vermicompost”, and I’m wondering what the best temperature is to incumbent them?

I read 50F for breeding, and 70F plus for casting production, but can’t find anything about the best temperature to get the cocoons to hatch at. I’m guessing 70, does anybody know? Thanks!

I couldn't find anything addressing cocoon incubation temp's in Clive Edward's "Vermiculture Technology".

I would expect that keeping temp's within the range at which the cocoons were laid (which is species dependent) would result in the highest rates of viability. While maintaining the proper environmental conditions in which worms thrive is important, time seems to be the controlling factor, that being around a month.
