Increasing the THC %?

Hello,

I heard some time ago that there's a trick to increase the THC % in weed.
As far I know it has THA inside the buds.
If you gonna put some buds in the oven for like 5-10 minutes the THA is getting converted into THC. I never tryed that before and I'm not sure if it works because I suppose a vaporizer use a methode like this to get the THC out of the buds.
Anyone tryed that before? Does it works? Any tips on doing it pefect?

NO ! dose dryer weed get you higher ? if you got fresh buds or tobacco or salvia you can put it in the microwave for a a little bit and it will dehydrate it and if its left in there too long it will get too dry and start fire

Here ya go, Ma'am. Water Curing Q's If you haven't, check this out. Apparently definitely
increases T.H.C. content of the finished product.

I'm just going to say this prolly for the 100th time there is no way to INCREASE thc on a plant. You can increase resin producton which is where the majority of thc is but the potency of a plant lies all within the genetics of a plant, can only polish a turd so much, but its still shit. As for the oven thats to quick dry buds but drying and curing properly will give better taste aroma and buzz. If you smoke fresh weed before its fully dry you wont get as high. Furthermore putting buds in the oven over 150 degrees will actually vaporize the thc and your bud will become less potent so keep your buds out the oven/microwave and let them dry a week and cure in a jar it's just as important as feeding them corectly and babying them throught there life.

once the bud is grown there's realy not a lot that you can do to increase the thc level. short of turning it into honey oil or hash but that only increase the concentration not the overall amount.

hell no dont do that..thc comes from ur bud being hit with light the resin heads have magnifying balls on the tips that shin on ur bud and make thc levels increase..and the light that makes it increase isnt hps, mh non a that its uvb that does it. and there is no heat coming from my uvb bulbs..none at all made sure of it

I have not tried the uvb bulbs yet.But from what i have read you are correct that uvb does increase the trics on the plants.OPH

ya i know its a defense mechanism..the bud gets hit wit the uvb ray and defends the bud by bringing out more trics

Here's some good tips I found

1. Water
Many studies have been carried out on the relationship of water and THC content and all seem to agree that when faced with low water supply and low humidity THC levels are increased.

2. Light
These [studies] showed that under conditions of high UV-B (280-315 nm) exposure, cannabis produces significantly greater quantities of THC.

3. Stress
I have also come across many tips about wounding your plant to increase THC. "Wounding" refers to maybe bending the stem a little or cutting it with a clean razor. I'm told anything above these wounds, will become stronger when it heals. "What doesnt kill you makes you stronger."
I dont know the exact numbers, but I know that those who do this, definitely see in increase in crytallized resin, stem and flower growth.

you do know thca is only thc-acid correct?

so you technically have all the thc you have there, once it's activated it becomes THC.
