inclosed ballast???

Finally about to start my first grow...Just got the dr60,pots,fans,soil,ect. Now for the light told my girlfriend what to get at the hydro store and what did she do??? She forgot the light. Now i have a change to ask the good people at R I U. will the 400 watt with the inclosed ballast cause heat problems. 4"intake at the bottom 6" vortex for the filter and hot air to get out of course and a 6" clip on for between light and top of plants what do you like? yes i have central air

I would only use an enclosed ballast in a compact fluorescent bulbs...otherwise there is really no reason or benefit to using an enclosed ballast...in fact in my experience they are hard to find....why buy a combo unit that could be hard to replace.

well my hydro stre has everything and alot of it. just wanna make it as simple as i can for my first grow, but at the same time make it worth it. they said for the dr60 the 400 would be perfect. just wanna know if i have the right idea for venting the tent. the room it will be in will always be in the low 80s or mid 70s. i just cant vent outside the room. was thinking i could get away with 4" intake and 6" vortex pulling air out the tent
