Hello guys,
I have at last a good set up but the fans are a bit on the loud side.
I have a square meter tent 1.8 meters high.
6 inch exhaust with ducting no longer than 2 meters to exit the room on low speed.
Low speed = 467 m3/hr. Sound level = 27 dba
(It's an TT inline cheap fan but does the job)
I have an inline fan 4 inch S&P quality fan one of the best for low sound levels and performance.
I do not have anything cooling the 600w lamp running within the tent.
The temps are border line at 30 c / 26 c in different area's of the tent. If i open a window i get the temps down to 25c - 27c perfect.
Now i want to reduce fan noise within the room.
This is what i am thinking,
Change my extraction fan to a 5 inch fan AF125 BORA 480m3/h / 24db
Add a air cooled hood with an 4 inch extraction and leave the inlet fan as it is 4 inch S&P.
Keeping my 6 inch ducting for less resistance.
Am i thinking right here as i really open to any other options to reduce noise even installation of walls?
