I use acetone. Way more effective than iso
Real pros use n-heptane. Lol
I have both, but acetone is cheaper.

I use this instead of my laser thermometer. It's more accurate and makes hitting Nectar Collector straw a joy.
I can't stand the smell of that, I would not want that anywhere near something I smoke out of. I use Iso because it evaporates pretty much to nothing.
oooh that is very interesting! I have a freeze pipe nectar collector also and yeah sometimes it is WAY to hot.. just wrecks me lol
so do you just use this by touching it to the tip of the collector and that gives you your temp reading?
Exactly, because it's contact it's more accurate. As soon as it turns green you hit, blue is too cool and red too hot. It was pricey but it helped me to wait and not wait too long.
