Well, I went hunting for a spot to grow the other day. My seeds just got put into cups and havent even sprouted out of the soil yet. My town is very hard to grow in and the only place i found that is even remotly close is in a Bamboo forest patch thing. It has minimal light but they are hidden. I dont know whether to sacrifice yield for them to be hidden. But I'm basicly wondering do you think the plants will be alright then a little less light than neccesary? they will get sun but they are under heavy canopy. Thanks. BTW are there any specific nutrients recommended for my situation? Thanks A LOT! I really do appreciate ANY feedback.(Hopefully nice) pCe:joint:

Hmmm.... it would be really sweet if you could climb up in some of the taller bamboo and cut the tops off, break the section divider, dump in soil and seed, and see what happens. as for planting on the ground, every thick bamboo patch i have been in is under heavy cover as you say, but i have heard of certain strains that like indirect sunlight, so maybe if you put in on the outskirts or in a less dense part. I think next time I see a patch of bamboo I will plant some seeds in them and see what nature does. I figure if you punch out the little dividers that it will allow alot of room for the roots to grow downward... maybe.

anyway I made a living bong out of bamboo once.

They will be really really stretchy and lanky and the buds won’t really get fully developed/dense as much as if you had direct sunlight! #1 thing you need when it comes to growing is SUN/LIGHT/LUMENS for optimum growth

also, I don't have much experience with Bamboo, but they spread from rhizomes. This may be an issue when planting, or a problem down the road for the roots of your ladies. and as mentioned, the canopy will be an issue.
