I'm adding a light mover today. I'm going to explore the possibilities of cutting my 4k op back to a 2k op. I'm wondering what kinda yield change i'm looking at vs quality/development of lower bud sites. Any input would be appreciated thanks!

Is lollipopping, which is what I currently do, even necessary when you're using a light mover?

in my experiences, yields do not suffer one bit from light rails. i have no numbers for you, but an experienced grower i know has done a comparison.
3k watt (1 hps, 2x mh) vs 1k watts on a light rail, and had 4 grams less on the rail..

it may take some dialing in as far as the delay at the end of the rails. i have mine set to 30 seconds.

would stick to your exact growing methods as far as everything else goes. lollipopping included.

nice. how big a space was he running the 3k dropped to 1k? cuz i'm in two 4x8 trays with a 1k light for each 4x4 space. but since the light foot print for my large adjust-a-wing says 5.9ft x 7.2ft, moving one back and forth over a 4x8 tray should do just fine i'm thinking

he was running the 3k over about that much space. 4x8 that is.

im running my 1k watt on a rail over a 5x8 foot table. plants stay in about a 3.5x8 foot space on average, and things are going just fine.
