LED is new to me, energy savings is important. Their product looks promising, check the spec's. Again, I'm a newbee and you may find this new news or if it isn't, sorry!

if you are about to spend 800$ on LEDs, make sure you do good research... for that kind of money you can get some serious LEDs, and for a little more you can get into the big league of the LED world, what is your grow area?... I don't know about this one, it's 1W but they use good quality LED... see what other have to say

Yeah, I agree, I'd hold off and do more research. 1w means their slightly more efficient but the penetration and intensity isn't as good as 3w. You can find plenty of other lights in that price range that have been proven to get the results we've been looking for.

UV and IR add flower power. Some growers using HPS add UV supplemental lighting for a couple hours a day during flowering to increase trich production. I know the pro grows and blackstars have IR and UV didoes in their mix, I'm sure other companies offer this as well. It wouldn't be a marketing gimmick as they are expensive to produce.
