IG seed wars

Anyone else besides me been keeping themselves entertained with all the IG beef here in the last month between breeders, banks, and chuckers??! It's really great material for your morning shit, because that's about what equates to. A lot of folks seem to think that because they took a strain of someone else's and bred it to another strain(for an F1 breeding male) they somehow feel they're more richeous than another who just chucked two established strains together. Shit half of these breeders who are bitching have seed projects they they started less than a year ago and are on the market now, but they feel they are better than others. Hell if the consumer wants your cross they're going to buy it, not a different cross of someone else's that just happens to use one of your strains. Sorry, but at this point in time everything's been done! Hell at this point, some of these guys aren't even putting out new strains. They're finding a special pheno of a prior strain, renaming it, and calling it a day. So unless we all get some undiscovered landraces, we're all doomed to be hacks and dick riders apparently...so just remember, as long as you go [clone only x (clone only x bag-seed)] your ok. Just by god make sure you toss in that bag seed or you're not a "real breeder".

Only a matter of time before it was over run by trolls and wannabes. I don't have instagram, and the only beef I was aware of was relentless and greenline. But, tis true that it's entertaining to read. And it's also true how many claim to be a top notch breeder... but as you said... people are going to buy the beans they want. If they want a nice stable worked line, go for breeders that are on 3rd or fourth generations of a line. Stability, reliable.
Then you have the new cookie x glue crosses that have came out without any testing. They should be sold as "use with caution"
But everyones doing it, so it's alright!
I keep my eye out for growers who get solid reviews throughout the community... these are who I usually purchase beans with.
