Identification?

Hi All...I was wondering if anyone could identify either of these plants. One is growing in my compost bin & the other plant was given to my father as a get-well gift. He's not into gardening so I've been taking care of it. I'm thinking the one in the compost bin is either a Moonflower or Morning Glory seed I dropped in by accident. Any help apprieciated.:?

I am not sure the names of those, but I have the same vine one as the second pic, lol. It grows like crazy. I have several varieties of it, all green and varigated. Very easy to root too if you want more, lol. Just clip it and stick in a cup of water for a few days and you have new roots. I have one that goes all the way around the top of my kitchen bulk head.:peace:

The second one is a Pothos, some people confuse it with the philodendren, it is a cousin of the philo though.

It likes bright indirect light. The leaves look kind of sunburnt there, don't let the sun hit the leaves. If the leaves start to droop, water it, those like a drink more often than some plants.

That first one could be a moon flower, or a morning glory, it's hard to tell right now, post some pics when it grows a few more leaves and I can tell for sure for you.

Wow - thanx for that info! I was wondering why the leaves were getting burnt. I will be sure to post more pics after transplant because it can't stay in the compost bin.
