i also have one, built out of cardboard, it's about 10 inches wide, a little over a foot long and about 3 ft high.... i'm using a 8" fan i bought at walmart for 8 bucks yesterday, which is huge for my box but it was the cheapest i could find....
for a small box check out using computer case fans.... on newegg.com they have a couple really cheap, $0.99 for a 80mm, about 4-5 bucks for a 120mm... to hook it up you use a DC converter, it's all explained in the thread above...
for an easy CFL setup you can buy a multiplug, some plug to socket converters, some Y sockets, some zip ties....
the plug to socket goes to the multiplug, the Y socket goes to the plug to socket, there you have 2 light sockets, put 2 bulbs... repeat.... to secure the bulbs use the zip-ties.... now just find a way to glue it over your plants, plug it in, and all you have to do is trip the switch on the multiplug to turn it on. i'm not sure but i think for a single multiplug you can fit 6-8 lights, depending on what size lights you are using....... i got this off another thread on this website but i cant find it.... so credit to whoever gave me this idea...
