Ideal PH of water -- soil grower

I am growing in soil, but I keep a water reservoir for convenience. What would the ideal water PH of the reservoir be for seedlings, veg, and flowering.

you'll get different opinions but usually try to keep it between 5.8 and 6.5....

it isn't so much the ph of the water. it is the ph of the runoff water.. depending what is in your soil to lower the ph already. if u ph the water to 6 it may run off at 5. just have to test your run off and adjust accordingly.

for example my tap water is 8 without any correction. My run off is generally 6 to 6.3 i don't mess with it.

Hey wiseguy316 I am new to growing cannabis I know in any type of hydro medium if the ph is off on the run off test you can just flush and start over. I have read to always ph your water for soil ? So what is the technique for getting a ph for soil ? Cause right now I ph my r/o at 6.5
