Ideal air conditioning unit for 8x8 grow tent

What up y’all my a/c just took a dump and now I need another one so I’ve been looking around and there’s so many options available. But before I get one I wanted to see what the rollitup community has to say about it any recommendations?? Need a reliable 14,000 btu air conditioner!

Forget an ac unit and get a small circular fan. If you are trying to keep the heat down place the fan near the top to blow out the hot air. Or put fan on the floor to suck in cooler air. I prefer the second method as it is usually an easier set-up.

Good luck, BigSteve.

Ideal air or active air roll around types arent very efficient but work.

If you have a basement put a fan between 2 studs and suck that cool air up and suck the hot air out the opposite side at top.
I'm growing upstairs and that's how I plan to keep it cooler then the rest of the house since I don't have ac.
If not swamp cooler here I come which will also help with humidity.
Oh and a dry room will be harder to control temp in then a room with humidity.

Treat the room not the tent. The goal is going to be have as little stuff in your tent as possible so you can stuff it with nugs.
As for air conditioners look into a mini-split unit. They can heat & cool and are very efficient and require no ducting. Any HVAC company near you can install or you can install if you purchase a DIY kit.
