i want to be legal

recently got busted and goin to court soon, not talking about that


but, i want to know if i moved to cali, how would i go about gettin a legal grow setup just for personal use and how hard it would be?

btw i have insomnia, that would be my medical reason, but i mean i could make somthing up i guess lol

i live on the east coast to, to strict, is washington state a possibility??

undercover caught my friend somehow seting up the hps,mylar and plant that just started buding(1ft tall-for closet) and he narked me out.

i gave it away becuase i had recently got a pitbull puppy and if i got cought it would be hard to take care of him, luckily it hasnt been as hard as i thought, hes spoiled and loved on by everyone around him.

sucks i got expelled and evicted and paying a shitload for a lawyer tho, at least i still got my dog.

but i dont really wanna talk about it, that nite was full of benzos and blunts then terror nightmare shit. bad night, and im over the fact i got cought, i learned a lesson that needed to be learned, absolute secrecy

california is pretty laid back when getting your script. i myself don't have mine yet i will be getting mine soon. My fiance got his in december and my father his girlfriendand there room mate all got theres really easily,cost 200.00 and any medical records you might have, my father and fiance don't go to doctors and they were still able to get theirs.

By the way my father dosen't even smoke he uses it for external rubs. my fiance uses it for insomnia and he has asthma and anxiety.

I live in CA. You go to a medical marijuana doctor (pick one cuz theey are everywhere)

He will write you a a recomendation. ($200 +/-) (prop 420(really)
You will now be able to have 6 plants and 12 seedlings at one time.
Also you can carry up to 8oz of personal.
If you get 420 excemption (prop 215) then the limit is raised by your doctor.

Now you can go to a strip mall collective and shop for your weed and grow plants.

yeah the rules in cali are kinda weird. like others said, its easy to get a card here. I went through medi-cann.com, and it's only $110 to get your card. This allows you to grow the 6 flowering with 12 seedlings at a time. But, you can get an exemption from the doctor that will allow you to grow up to 99 plants I believe. My housemates and I all have our cards, so we can legally have 24 plants flowering and 48 vegging at a time. The cops could come in our house and wouldn't be able to do anything. another strange rule is the caregiver. since marijuana even at the state level is illegal to posses unless you have the card, for a small fee you can name a caregiver. They will get a id card and can grow the 6/12 plants for you. However if you are growing then they can't grow for you in the same location. They also can't be caught in the act of smoking or under the influence. Legally they can only grow or carry it for the patient. I have friends who are cops and even they don't know what to do about this most of the time. I was at a party and a friend brought out an entire pound of weed. the cops came because the music was too loud, they saw the weed and were about to arrest people when I showed them my card. They just left and told us to turn down the music. The DEA is staring to shut down more and more of the clubs especially in southern California and San Diego.

i am now planing the move as i have alot of medical stuff wrong wit me and they are telling me they cant fix me and they can only help with the pain. so ca here i come.

when you move to cali i suggest you look up what counties allow more then the standards, humbolt county is a decent county or there are a few other counties that have more leneant rules in regaurds to amounts of plants and dried and ready marijuana. also you should research rents and stuff like that because california can be pretty expensive as well as beautifull and leniant.

I live in Santa Barbara, last year we passed a local bill making marijuana the lowest priority for cops. If you get caught in possession here as long as you have less than an ounce on you its only a $50-75 ticket. Not even a misdemeanor. That's no card. If you have a card you're allowed to carry up to 8 ounces. I go to UCSB and we have a joint rolling competition in our local park. If you have your card, you can roll weed and smoke it. The cops are there too. There are 12 clubs here in SB where you can buy herb, seeds, clones, and various edibles and stuff shipped in from europe. It's awesome. You have your choice of a hundred strains that you can inspect before you buy, and you can buy hash, oils and all sorts of stuff there. The DEA is cracking down on them though, as all this is still illegal on the federal level. I don't know if you heard, but the DEA hit San Diego Hard. Most of the clubs were shut down, their owners are stuck in court and some are ending up in jail. Even the smoke shops are getting shut down or discontinuing to sell bongs and paraphernalia. It's a huge grey area that needs reform bad. If you're just looking to do a small scale personal consumption grow, if you have your card you won't even need to worry about cops.

yea, my gf wants to finish her schooling in cali now, she goes to itt-tech and there are alot of locations all up and down cali. im goin to get the locations and post them, and hopefully you guys could give me your recomendations for each location?

You can get your card for $90 at Medicann with some medical records.

Once you get your card you are allowed the minimum state limit (6 mature or 12 immature plants AND 8 ounces of dry marijuana) and some counties raise the limits even higher (Santa Cruz has no plant or possession limit!).
