I'm on day 5. Started with tree bark htg supply starter cube. Transferred it 48 hours ago, to a 16 ounce pot. Using FFOF soil. Have not watered it in 30 hrs. The soil still feels a little moist. Using 250 hps 12'' inches away from the plant. Temp is at 80 F. Humidity 43%. 18/6 light cycle. Have not used any nutes. Only nutes I do have are fox farm trio. When I last watered it, used 6.5 ph. I was using a dome for the last 24 hrs. Thought it might need more humidity. I took the dome off, two hours ago. It is getting worse by the hour!!!!!!:(:( I have another plant, (Plant#1 in my photos) in the same tent (EXACT SAME CONDITIONS) and it looks fine????:confused::confused:

Not really man. Start again you learn a little more every time. Use the search function on RIU. It has some great stuff. Not so sure the pic of that one is dead. For the hell of it back that light up another 8-10 inches.

Leave it and wait. It doesn't look great but doesn't look dead - yet. I have had some wimpy seedlings turn out killer smoke.

you will be fine. move your light back a bit like a foot and a half for a few days and give it a good watering. let it be for a few days.

A foot and a half?? that sounds like a lot. Then just stack books, or something for my other plant, so that plant don't end up getting fucked (stretched too far)?

I am on day 7. My temp is around 78 to 79 F. Both 16 oz cups are feeling pretty light! I have not watered either one of them since Thursday night. I upped my airflow, and I am still using domes for humidity. Here are some pics. The one that I was spazzing out on Friday night, is now not looking so helpless :) Do you think I should water them at some point today??? I might give Plant#1 another day to recover before a watering. Thanks for all the support, and help PIMPS!!!

Also, should I transplant plant#2 to its final home? I am using 3 gallon pots, for their final home. Like I said, it feels light, but damn round leaves have not fallen off yet???
  • Or should I wait until I see the roots of her at the bottom of my 16oz pot?? Thanks!!!!!

you should wait until the leaves start drooping and then saturate the soil with water, wait until the leaves droop again then saturate again. lather, rinse, repeat.

i would wait until you are sure the plants roots are well entrenched in the soil, that way when you transfer them you'll take the whole root ball with you and not have any shock from breaking roots. for a red plastic party cup that is 3-4 weeks. then, when the soil is dry, loosen the soil from the cup and transfer to your new pot filled with dry potting mix. then completely saturate the new pot, lather, rinse, repeat.

i would not transfer after plants are in flower. i haven't done it, but i'd be scared the plant would go hermie.

First i'd ditch the humidity dome at this point. If they are in 16oz cups give them some water today. Wait a few days then water when they feel dry. By then the roots might be starting to crank and you can then transplant.
