I seriously reckon this could be the holy grail for massssive yeilds? any comments??

Hi, I was thinking if you were running a flood and drain system in a c02 enriched room when the roots are drained and exposed they will share that same c02 drenched air..so I was thinin an after a couple of puffs and some browsing I found oxygen generators which can stream oxygen at a optimal 20psi continusly 24hours a day. so if you could seal the pot and roots in a second larger pot and pump oxygen into the second pot they would get a nice hit of pure 02 all day long. at the end of the line of pots have a 15mm tube leading out a window/extractor vent whatever so no blow outs. its long tryin to explain like this so attached is a diagram..lemmie know what ya think im wel excited to start trials....

pump the generated oxygen into a large bag. Have your reservoir air pump sitting in this bag so the pump pumps pure oxygen to the roots...At the top of the pot you could have some air line silliconed into a small hole running out the window to stop pressure building.

Never tried this, might do more harm than good..remember oxygen is a destructive compound perhaps too much at the root zone will just kill the roots? who knows...I guess theres only one way to find out.

why not just put your res air pump in a differant room then your grow room

then all you would be spending is your money on a longer air pump hose
verses rebuilding your hole setup

yea cheers lads I was kinda thinkin the same thing...that it could go the other way an kill em..however the oxygen generator also "scrubs" the aiir as it goes ensuring no little nastys, which sounds good and the amount of oxygen can be regulated. as in how pure it is..all the way up to 93%!! however I was thinkin 40% and build up from there..putting the pump in another room isnt really my point..see the pump and air stone etc will draw air from the cO2 enriched room an be diffused into the nute solution..its when the roots are drained for the 15/20mins (depending on cycle) that they would recive a hit of O2...low pressure set up, im a corgi engineer so no leaks on pipework (please god) dunno man I suppose Id just have to do it as a sideline kinda thing to mess about with...oh and lights are all in a sealed network with full independant extraction running 24/7...no heat...no sorce of ignition either from lights on? .........
