I need help with lightning..

Im building a room that will house alot of different plants, tomatoes, roses, medical, pineapple etc.. Is it possible to use a general light type for all the different plants? Ex. only t5's or LED? And if using LED; is 72w(45) led strips enough? I want to minimize the heat as it is a little tight space. This is only for cuttings and veg so I can grow plants before the outdoor season.
I have another room for flowering.

How big is the space you want lit?

maybe get a digital ballast that does MH & HPS ...choose whatever wattage you need

i grow chili's and herbs right along side my other stuff
led and some cfls i am at about 75 watts a square foot
so yeah you can grow them together you'll just want to good mix of light spectrum
