With so little basic info. provided I'm going with light burn (too close). That, or chem trails by the government.. Either is a suitable answer since all we are getting is 2 photos. Swing a cat in this forum and you'll likely hit a "expert".

you nute burned the shit outta those girls!!....flush ASAP. looks as if they have already absorbed most of it....back off on nute strength and as u see new growth slowly ramp up the nutes.

looks like your soil mix is to hot or you fed with to much nutes. Do you have a ppm meter? If so whats the runoff testing at will tell you whats up.

carl's right. we don't know dick about this plant, how could we answer reasonably?

Dont need to know alot when youve already been there and done that....pic says it all
so why are there divergent answers? the etiology of the plant distress can only be guessed at, just as you've done. The point isn't that we can't guess at it, its that, if you want to come onto a forum and get useful responses, its necessary to give a little background on your plant, growing conditions, techniques etc. So when homie comes back up here and says "i'm in 100% coco and gave 1/4 strength nutes the whole time" are you going to stick with nute burn? Furthermore, if homie says "im in organic soil" do you still assert that "flushing" is the best course of action?

you must be one of those experts carl was talking about though, my bad.
be easy

I don't know what in the world could cause this. I know it's not bugs does anyone have an idea

Ok, I've only seen this a few times, and it damn sure ain't from no Miracle Grow soil there bird mcbride  if ya can't grow, quit using MG as the excuse :o...I'm gona bet OP let his plant sit in the water/nutrients he last fed it...

I love how we all give different answers.

Sure would be confusing on the other end. OP does need to enlighten us a bit. ;)

wtf does coco or any other soil have to do w/ flushin or not flushin?!..i was in coco coir as well when i did the exact same thing!!! and my plants...look the exact same way..too much nitrogen will "squeeze" the leaves together as in said pic. you must be one of those guys that needs every little detail to fish for a answer that prolly wont help.....<<< for drJ

that you are unaware of the divergent opinions on "flushing" indicates the paucity of your understanding. I'm out. sorry OP, hope you get some help from other folks.
be easy,

and, by the way, too much nitrogen MAY or CAN "squeeze" the leaves together, but so CAN other things. That's the point of getting more details. To rule out other possibilities.

Do enlighten me pls Dr....what else does that?!...because i dont know of any!
nitrogen burn characteristically begins at the tips and works back. if you notice, in one of the pictures, the entire stalk has turned brown. I'd guess a massive pH imbalance causing lockouts of several nutrients. but that would be a huge guess, since i have no clue what else could have gone on. The only info we got was that he was certain it wasn't bugs. There are plenty of soil pathogens that COULD cause something LIKE this, of course those pathogens are less likely to develop in an inert medium, but then we don't know if the medium is inert, do we? We don't know what kind of light or how close. we don't know dick shit, as I said originally, and can therefore offer only the most generic of GUESSES.
