It depends on what stage of growth you are on. Cannabis plants need abundant N during Veg and also need the right ratio of P K and micronutrients. It also depends on the soil you are using. If you are using MG soil with time release fertilizer in it I wouldnt add anything during veg. If you are in flower using that soil you can add a 1/4 strength dose of nutes every other watering or so til they start to get some nice bud growth on them. I say 1/4 strength cause any more and your gonna give it N toxicity as cannabis uses much lower N during flower than veg. Good Luck!

People hate on MG but that's all we used our first grow, and we can't complain. We did OK for 2 n00bs growing outdoors in a fucking marsh. God, the weather that year was bad.
Best of luck dude :)

I got that fertilizer as well...its pretty good one but its missing like cal-mag, try look at the label ratio...and last year i had a plant that got burned by two tsp....learned lesson....so start with small amount its good for veg stage only....not seedling :)

k well im a little over 2 months in. around how long should i wait?
well its depend what kind of soils , you re using right now ?

If you buy MG soil as well...just look at the bag label like 3 or 6 months for feed ? Unless your plant s color is really lime like very light green...you can start give plant a small amount of fertilizer. give a few days if you see its change color on the leaves...just read your plants, as for me i learned one thing from my personal exprience i try to feed my plant with any nutrient , i will wait till the soil start dry...i will test to put nutrient on the bottom if they really like it they will suck it fast or not...its better than sorry :)

Sounds like you've pretty well got a handle on this. While they are a far cry from ideal, For beginners, MG can be a real godsend. It can also fuck you really hard and not in a pleasant way. But you sound like you have the common sense to start out at half strength, and to wait until the soil nutes are pretty much used up. So far, you're way ahead of the curve. Good luck!!!
One other thing you want to be aware of is the chemical salt build up that occurs in soil when using chemical nutes. Research "Flushing". The salts accumulate in the soil, and eventually build up to toxic levels, so you need to flush them out periodically. This isn't a problem with organics, so at some point later on, you might want to look into that.

I'm goin with jack on this one, sounds as if you have done some home work.Just becareful with your waterings as that is what leads alot of people into issues with the MG.

Chances are the only thing you may need is a cal mag product.

hey drolove you said your leaves is dark greener thats mean plant eat all the proper nutrients...no need to feed this plant further or you will have risk of high N toxicity....and if you can afford to buy the cal-mag at your hydro store ? or if you cant afford or dont have any hydro store in your area then go to any food store and try to find the grandma molassess in honey section, they have cal mag.
