If you look at the "Color Temp" section you will see that its at 4000... I'm almost positive that this means it wouldn't be ideal for growing. In Veg you want 6500 and in Flower you want 3000/2700. At 4000, the plant doesn't get much useable light.

damn but with that and a 75w hps light what can i expect to get out of it enough for a plant or 2. Isn't that color rating like for the stock lamp that comes with it cant i get a better bulb for a better color rating

You could just get a better MH bulb, 400W variety, that's in 6500K range....I've personally seen a 4000K bulb grow things just fine, with some 6500K floros tossed in though for good measure though
