I HAVE TINNY LITTLE MAGGITS IN MY SOIL. NOT NORMAL MAGGITS, A BUNCH OF CLEAR SMALL LITTLE WORMS. HOW DO i GET RID OF THEM?

Try a little stronger mix of hydrogen peroxide and water. It should kill the maggots. maybe not the eggs. Just repeat in a day. careful not to overdue it or you'll oxidize your roots too! Anyone else have other methods? Mine might not do the trick

I went to home depot got a $7 dollar can and it killed all of them. But do not use neem oil that will not work. good luck

you will have to google and find the larvae you are dealing with..
most common are fungus gnats.. you can get gnatoff which you mix with water and apply as a drench .. this has a bacterium in it that stops the larvae from feeding on your roots thus killing them.

lava and knat live and thrive in warm moist soil! i had this same problem not so long ago. the best way that i dealt with it with out using chemicals was to let the soil dry out completely for a few days and hang the bright yellow sticky fly - catch cards in the grow room. also place them face up on top of the soil as the lava that are born tend to fly out of the soil and on to the sticky card preventing them from breeding. sliced potato on top of the soil is also good as adult knats prefer to lay their eggs on them. hope this helps!!
