I thought it would be cool to germanate (i think thats what its called) some seeds from some mids I got a few days ago. I folded the seeds up in a damp paper towel and let them sit for a few days. Out of 10 seeds one has sprouted. Its a little white sprout about half inch long that curves from the seed into the paper towel. What should I do with this sprout. I don't want to just throw it into the garden outside because I don't wanna kill it. Some advice please?

P.S. I have never grown anything before.

Hi Hay,

It would be smart to get a 3 gallon container and mix 20% perlite with 80% (GREAT) organic soil. Place the seedling in the container and keep the top of the soil moist (not muddy).

You should look at this: pH Water - See More Buds

Having pH skills is vital to great growing..

Cannabis has hooked another one eh fdd2blk? lol. I remember the excitment of it all at the beginning, good times.

When you plant a small sprout in a big container, you must make sure the roots stay moist. They water tends to drain away from the roots quicker.
I use a 4'' container until they are rootbound. approx. 12'' tall, then transplant to 5 galon containers. Then veg for desired height. I go 24'' in veg. then flip.

Being new is exciting....but confusing as all hell at the same time.

If you dont know and ask.....the various suggestions can be overwhelming. At some point...you just say fuck it and go with your gut.

Being new sucks IMO.....Especially when you're waiting on your 1st successful grow.

Just some idiot
Also you should keep it in a container at this point, it's getting close to being too late to plant outside....tick tock tick tock

Good Luck and keep us up to date.
