I have 2 6" 440cfm inline fans. the 2 lights will be in 2 different rooms with one wall they share that I want to use to join the 2 hoods, I have already drilled a 6" hole in it (shared wall to vent my 1000w flower room with out sucking outside air into my room. My question is can i keep use 2 440 cfm inline fans to cool a 1000w light and a 600w light simultaneously?
Got figure out how I'm going to do this, just wanna make sure i can do it with these 2 fans. and And in what way to install them, like which way I should push/pull air and where to place them in raleationship to the lights.

Thanks for any help.

with fans you should pull air but with a lot of heat like a cool hood I have been told to push it so not to get the fan to hot a burn it up

I like my hood cool enough to touch, like 84F, you could put them together, they actually work better warm (the lightbulbs) I would use one 6inch for both if it's not drawing much suction (both if it's pulling air from far away like the general house air)

two 440 cfm fans ought to be plenty to cool both of those lights. i'm not sure you need both, but better to have two running at half speed than one running wide open, it'll be quieter, and your fans will last longer. i'd put one drawing air in through your 600, hook that exhaust to your 1k's intake, then have your other fan pulling it outside. your lights should not get anywhere near hot enough to damage your fans, and they are way more efficient pulling than they are pushing.

Thanks for the replys just am seeing them.
There will be at least on 90 degree turn in the duct, probably 2. I know this restricts airflow some. I'm using 6" HVAC insulated ducting, I got off a job site.
