Yeah they will be cool. Been researching into keeping bonsai mothers and with them, u have to cut 1" of the outside of the pot/roots and they still live so ur plant will b fine

depends on which roots and how many you broke. If you lost 80% of the rootmass, you're in trouble.

A 24 hour dark period after repotting/transplanting will help them recover with less transplant shock.

i didn't lose 80% of the roots but they were alot longer than i thought they would be. hopefully it wont shock the plant too much. grow and learn i guess.

lol you will be fine, I lost about 90% of mine, when I transplanted from the ground. They went threw a week or two, of what looked like a slow painful death, but now she is growing beauitfully again.

What happens is, the your plant cant grow until your root mass catches up to the size of the plant. So the plant will appear to be dieing, but really she just waiting for the roots to hurry up.

Just be patient, a high phosphouros nute supplement would be really nice, woodash will do, but dont over do it. Superthrive also works good, 1/4 teaspoon a gallon, any more and you might end up with a hermie

Hope everything goes well. Goodluck buddy : )

nothing to worry about at all. At least the roots were hanging downwards and not all curled around each other. Then they'd be root-bound and you'd HAVE to cut the roots if you wanted the plants to fill the new pot.

If all you've done is snapped off a couple of roots you've nothing to worry about, and may in fact benefit the plant.

Hey, don't worry the roots started small and grew so all that will happen is a little shock. Thats usually expected anyways when transplanting. Hope it all goes good for ya.

nothing going to be if plant are healthy now in any case the worst sitiuation is your plants going to be in deprression and they are going to stop growing for few days for growing roots and after all is be going to ok
