Has anyone ever heard of or used a -Blomm- yes the spelling is correct growlight it appears to be very nice with a cxb 2540 5000k cree cob centered between 86 5w bridglux red blue ir and uv full spectrum and stating 1300ppf at 24 in and 800 ppfd at same 24 in im super impressed with spectrum overview seems similar to optic 2 but hard to find any users or you tube so..... ever seen or heard of it
Or does anyone have an opinion on the optic 2 for a 7 sq ft grow plenty of hieght 35 in wide x 29 in deep

For those dimensions I’d think about the Bloomboss Fusion 600.
I wouldn’t recommend that at all it’s simply a cheap expensive Chinese light. You can easily get a much better quantum board from hlg for his space for a faction of the price. Your profile said you’ve worked in the industry in a professional capacity and that’s the light you recommend?

forget cheap LED lights! One of mine just crashed out on my today!
A 315w CMH would rock that grow space for you and there not that much money at all... Just get one with a remote ballist and keep it out of the room

I have an Apache tech at 600. I love it. Lifetime warranty too ;). Sold me. I have all led bulbs in my t5s, love them. And I have led strips I clone with, like them. And the old ufo I use for seedlings. They love them. The mars too are ok. The Apache is by far best. But expensive but greengene and six’strings both have great cob lights. But they run hot. They both clock them down to add life and add more too. It’s a toss up imo but the lifetime Apache won out for me. All LEDs work though. I’ve ran them since those cheap ass shitty boards eBay had lol all blue 1 watt or something shit. They worked though not long.

If you can afford the Apache that would be my first choice. It will pay off. But like monster led told me they lose efficiency too in time. Hopefully Apache will replace them if they do. Idk. So the cobs clocked down with more added may be the way. And you can easily make your own too.

The Apache runs cool. The Cali lightworks my friends use too do. I’d take the Apache over the Cali though for sure
” 120W array produces the equivalent of a 1000W HID lamp.”
That statement is subject when I see it on an led. Have you put it under a par meter?
I’ve used Cali light works they’re ok lights I’m doubting these Apache are any better. I still have my kind xl1000 which is now used to veg and is getting replaced here soon when I put up my new quantum boards my older citizen cobs will be moved to that room. Sure lights will work but just because it says nasa is a client does mean it’s good. I was in the military for 9 years and I can tell you the government is always buying shit equipment at high end prices.

True dat. No I’ve used it over a year now and love it. I’ve got an array of LEDs I use too I like them all but some are better then others. The Apache is legit just too expensive imo

I’m always leery with those. like I’ve said on here before on the forums I’ve tried all the expensive brands out there black dog, lush, Cali light works, kind, and a few others. All have grown plants but wouldn’t quite get me the buds I wanted. But if it does what you need then go for it and use it. To me though with how much those guys charge for what’s now far,far inferior lighting compared to other lighting options. including the diy route for building your own cob, qb, or even the light strips there’s no reason I could see spending that especially knowing what I know now.

Plus for me nasa saying they use those I ain’t buying it lol. I’m sure with all the tech they have they probably use mini fusion reactors To make tiny little suns lmao.

Your right that’s why I go with good cobs and now quantum boards that way I know what’s under the hood and how much power they’re consuming and performance. It why I keep light meters and all that too. Some shops around me would loan me their store model or give me lights at cost to run and see how they performed. It’s the main reason I ended up with the majority of the stuff I have/had then I would either give it back or if I bought it at their price I’d stick in on Craigslist for cheap to help guys get started for cheap.
