I broke yet another glass pipe so I went on over to the head shop in a very weed unfriendly state. I get there and this blond, maybe late 20s guy is talking to the cashier (son of the owner). I was at first irked because he clearly was buying maybe $2 worth of stuff but seemed to be chatting it up. I wanted to get in and out.
I really wasn't listening to the convo and checked my phone, but then caught the tail end of what he was saying. It seemed like he was trying to sell the cashier pot. I didn't believe it and thought I heard wrong, and the guy paid and walked out. I paid and left. The guy was outside the door and immediately I thought, "is he really fucking doing this??"
He approaches and I walk faster and he's like "hey man I got some great stuff do you want a free sample" I am speechless because I want to say "what the fuck is wrong with you go away!" I get a phone call and take it and then dodge into the liquor store. I watch as he gets in his car and leaves.
I went up to the head shop (I have been before and the clerk is from another country) and talked the guy, I said if someone does that he needs to kick them out ASAP at the VERY LEAST. Other head shops around here will kick you out if you call a bowl a bowl. They are required to use tobacco terminology and by law cannot have any discussion of any other usage. Occasionally they send in people to check up. Like if you say "hey do you have any larger bowls?" They are required to go "sir, we do not sell those, I am sorry but I have to ask you to leave." Its that nuts.
Anyways my point is his parents livelihood is at stake if you allow that stuff to go on there. Like if customers start buying weed from a guy in the parking lot, you'd better believe they'd try to prove he knew about it or was getting something out of it.
I'm ticked off because I felt that 1) there was a 25% chance he was a cop. He looked like a rookie cop. 2) If he actually was trying to sell, WTF! You just don't do that. I already have my sources. Everyone that goes into a shop like that either has a source or is actually looking for tobacco stuff. 3) Also, you never, ever, ever, ever talk about that shit with strangers! Either he's a cop or a dumbass.
My last point is, if he actually had good pot he wouldn't need to market it so badly. He's probably at best some dumbass that bought a bunch of mid grade from someone and thinks he can turn a quick profit. At worst, he's a cop. If someone gets busted buying from a stranger like that, you deserve it.
