has anyone grown autos hydroponically? what kind of feeding regimen do you use after they have been sexed? i've fed them w/ a N heavy solution until now. i'm thinking of a ratio of 1 part Floragro per every 2 parts FloraBloom... i'm using the GH nutrient calculator BTW

my setup is a waterfarm and i already have two seedlings i started in rockwool, and one is already showing sex, female, and the other isn't. i kinda had a feeling these were both females because i usually sex males a two weeks, and it's been three..

I have and used 2 parts micro to 1 part bloom and koolbloom for a total ec of 2.2 with no problems. I would use the Lucas formula (which even the GH calc calls for) in bloom and mix to ec 1.9, than add 5ml/gal (1 tsp) koolbloom to the ec of 2.2 right when they start flower, about 1 month in. Grew lowrider 2's

I did some auto aks for my first grow, and they really didn't like the ppms to go above 500. I used Gh flora series and the plants turned out great, just needed less nutes than a reg plant.

oh and, both the seeds are from a mix pack so the chances they are the same strain are slim, but what if they are both fem, should i just buy another waterfarm, or can i set them in the same waterfarm together..? my instincts tell me that the bigger strain will kill the other...

The bloom has a enough N to support it. I use foxfarm for my DWC, but still utilize the same technique. With autos you dont even need and grow ferts. Really all you need is bloom, micro, and cal-mag for autos, because there is no veg so no need for excessive N. The cal-mag will give a slight boost of N during the start of flowering to help keep it green through the first several weeks. My favorites autos are the easyryders from lowryder seed co. They are amazing yielders for such a short amount of time.

Started a few of easyryder autos and plan on growing them in some perlite using some Botanicare Ripe supplemented with some Hydroplex and Guano. What type of light did you use to grow your easyryders?
