Hydro to Soil?

I am going to start a few new plants from seed in a small aerogarden hydro system and was planning to transplant into soil. I haven't read much about this and was wondering if anyone has expiriance or advice. Is there anything special I need to know or do? Any help would be much appreciated.

It seems as though you can grow in hydro and get larger plants quickly, however it also seems that soil produces a better "tasting" product. So has anyone ever vegged in hydro and then transplanted in to organic soil and used organic ferts during the flowering period?
