Hydro- How much coco coir??

I need to know how much coco coir to buy to fill 10 10gallon smart pots. Also should I mix perlite with it? and one more thing, I have Alaska Fish fertilizer 5-1-1 for veg is this ok? Thanks guys. :leaf:

Simple math my brother 10 gallons = 37.854 liters. Most coco is sold in liters so to play it safe you'll need 38-40 liters of coco.

If you are getting coco in bricks, you will need to soak/expand it. Otherwise you can buy it in bulk like dude said, in liters.
As far as the perlite goes, that's your call. Seems like the common suggestion is 10-30% perlite, 70-90% coco.

I bought the Roots Organic brick, you would need like 4-5 of those, plus perlite.
