Theres many methods to germing seeds. Shot glass with water, Paper towel and sandwich bag or to ceramic plates, etc etc. I myself use the shot glass with water technique and they seem to germ pretty well, they sprout faster if in a warm environment (not hot but warm), also keep in a dark area away from any strong direct light ie. sunlight or a very bright light, keep it in a closet or something or just anywhere dark. Give the seed to sprout about 1 1/2 to 2 inches of root growth and that time the seed shell should be coming off, then transfer them to a small medium such as rockwool plugs(find at hydro store) or my favorite Jiffy peat pellets (can be found at your home improvement store in the garden section) or u can just put them straight into the soil, your choice, but before you transfer soak your medium in a ph balanced water between 5.5 to 6.0. Rockwool plugs tend to have a problem of having a ph fluctuation so i advise soaking the plugs in the ph balanced water for about 3 to 6 hours, some people will sometimes say shorter time lengths but i say longer is better. Jiffy peats are a bit easier IMO, all you do is soak the peats pellets until they expand, poke a tiny hole big enough to fit your roots to snugly inside and then pinch the peat so that way there is no opening between the roots and the peat.
