Hydro growers.. Tricolm question

so i took some bad seeds and had been growing them in soil...i was getting my feet wet in hydro and took the same seeds and grew them hydro..im about 6 weeks into flowering..this strain i have been harvesting at about 9 that makes the plant about half amber half cloudy..perfect for me..

my question is..around this time when growing in soil they had more crystals..the ones im growing as of now in the ebb and flow system..lots of buds big buds..by the cyrstals are showing yet..does this process take longer in hydro? thanks

might be using the energy that would be going to trichs into something else ,what is the condition of the plant

are you sure the seeds were from the same strain?

they also might be getting a different concentration of nutes in the soil then hydro,different ph values different nute uptake,all changes the amount of resin production

Light leak im thinking.. Are there buds? does it look like its in full flower? Could your timer be fubar and took it back to veg?

nah i know my timer is good..and the buds are big..they are getting bigger everyday..

i still think that its either dif genetics or diff resin production due to the plants environmental factors

well my ph stays between 5.5 and 6.5..my nutes are GH, Fox farm.. ppms around 900-1800 depending on the solution im using at the time..temps are 73-80F..i honestly would say that they pretty much have the exact environment they had when the same strain was in soil..and yes im 100% sure it was the same strain..

now i can say one thing i did different..was i topped one to see the different in the strain..but the other one is not topped and no trichs yet on it either..(these are the ballar bag seeds)

i would hate to say its the environment because i have 2 blueberry(Dutchpassion) 2Purple Lady and 2WW(G-13) all in the same grow lab tent..they are all two weeks in all females and are looking amazing(all these named strains are in soil)

is it gettin good light ......is the foliage on it too thick for light to penetrate .....i ask this cause i recently bloomed a hindu kush .....and in week 5 i seen no hairs hardly and very slow advancement ....i trimmed it up alot and now in past 10 days it has shown signs of a normal bloom progression

i mean yeah the plant is pretty thick..but i would say it looks to get enough light..plus i tie does the branch different ways every other day..so its getting go light into the plant too..and on both sides of the buds..theyre under a 600w hps

i really dont know its kinda worrying me because the soil grown plant was covered in crystals especially after the month cure..its was a complete white almost..
